I am interested in all aspects of Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy. My focus so far has been in Ancient ethics and moral psychology, esp. Aristotle and the Stoics. Currently I am working on Aristotle's theory of human motivation, with a special emphasis on his theory of akrasia (lack of control). Besides Ancient philosophy, I am also interested in aesthetics and philosophy of art (focusing on theories of art and interpretation).
