On this web site we sometimes use email nibs. They look like this:

To obtain a usable email address, you must finish out
the address with the string '@phil.ufl.edu', as in
COMPLETE ADDRESS: xyzsmith@phil.ufl.edu
We use this nib system on our site to prevent spam bots from
harvesting our email addresses from these pages. Thank you for your
patience in this regard.
